Binocular light weight head mounted eye tracking system 1000 Hz output

Category:

Description

Binocular light weight head mounted eye tracking system 1000 Hz output with head tracking

Professional Video Oculography System FG-N-05 with data rate up to 1,000 samples per second consists of light-weight goggles (130g=4.6oz) with head orientation sensor.

Research software produces output data file with the following channels:

  • Yaw and pitch eye position and velocity
  • Target position and velocity
  • Pupil diameter
  • Synchronous output of 3D head orientation
  • Synchronous eye video for data verification (1ms synchronization accuracy)

Key Features:

  • Visual data verification. Precisely synchronized video with 1 ms accuracy.
  • Sub-pixel and sub-sample resolution using advanced digital signal processing techniques. It allows 1000 samples per second output data rate even with relatively slow and inexpensive cameras.
  • Sub-pixel and sub-sample resolution using advanced digital signal processing techniques.
  • Absolute geometrical calibration. The classical 2, 5 and 9-point calibrations are available.
  • Head Impulse Test (HIT), also known as Halmagyi test.
  • Automatic blink detection and elimination.
  • Export data and video for storage and presentations.
  • Data export in ASCII format for custom processing in other analysis software.
  • Exceptional resolution allows to capture catch-up, corrective, overt, covert saccades and micro-saccades. System can measure saccadic velocities, latencies and other oculomotor parameters.
  • External marker/annotation/trigger channel. A key can be used to mark data.
  • Custom stimulus file playback.
  • The system can be integrated with customer’s equipment.
  • Monocular and binocular versions.

Optional Features:

  • 3D binocular eye orientation via torsional channels.
  • Head-eye velocity technique calibration.
  • Eye blinks included in an additional channel in the data file.
  • Direct Vestibular-Ocular Reflex (VOR) and VOR suppression measurements. It does not require a special rotary chair and can be performed on a regular chair.
  • Custom data acquisition and processing programs including additional analog and wireless channels.
  • Express 1-minute oculomotor test is available. Instant printable report.

The system characteristics were validated using 1000fps precision EyeLink II  eye tracker by SR Research, Inc, Canada. This system can be used as computerized Frenzel goggles. The early brain trauma detection is very prospective use. It is prospective for Mal de Debarquement  disorder  treatment when combined with head-mounted display.
